# Privacy Policy — velcra.ai

This policy explains how Velcra AI ("Velcra", "we", "us") handles personal data when you
visit velcra.ai or contact us. Velcra is a pre-seed company building AI agent harnesses;
this site is currently an informational "coming soon" presence with no accounts, sign-ups,
or payment processing.

## Information we collect

**Information you give us.** If you email us (for example at hello@velcra.ai), we receive
your email address, your name if you provide it, and whatever you put in your message. We
use this only to read and reply to you.

**Information collected automatically.** When you load the site, standard technical data is
processed — your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you
view — through our hosting provider's logs and the analytics described below.

## Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement and analytics tags. When active, those tags
may set cookies or similar identifiers and collect usage data such as the pages you visit,
your approximate location (derived from your IP address), and device and browser
information. We do not use this to identify you personally, and we do not sell it.

The site also loads web fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's
servers and your IP address is shared with Google for that request.

## Why we process your data (legal bases)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on:

- **Legitimate interests** — to keep the site secure and reliable and to understand
  aggregate usage.
- **Consent** — where required, for non-essential analytics cookies; withdraw any time.
- **Taking steps at your request** — to respond when you contact us.

## Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the
site and our email, acting as our processors:

- **Cloudflare** — website hosting and content delivery (server logs, security).
- **Google** — Tag Manager and analytics tags, and Google Fonts.
- **Google Workspace** — email, if you write to us.

We may also disclose data where required by law.

## International transfers

Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the
transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard
Contractual Clauses.

## How long we keep it

We keep email correspondence as long as needed to handle your request and our relationship,
then delete it. Analytics data is retained in aggregated or short-lived form per the
provider's defaults. Server logs are kept only briefly for security and diagnostics.

## Your rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the
processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to
withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@velcra.ai. You also have the right
to complain to your local data-protection authority — in Portugal, the Comissão Nacional de
Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

## Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly
collect personal data from children.

## Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and the site evolve. When we do, we will revise the
"last updated" date above.
